Introduction
To accurately identify power cable fault points, the cable fault location instrument employs the acoustic and magnetic synchronization method. The electronic flashover, generated by the impact discharge generator, is detected and amplified by a specialized probe. The precise location of the fault is determined through auditory and visual judgment. This device completes the precise positioning of cable faults within a rough measurement range and collects the time difference between acoustic and magnetic signals.
